5 keys for Real Madrid’s dream of a victory in the Clasico

Real Madrid and Barcelona will face off in the Clasico this weekend and we wanted to note the factors that make Madrid favorites in this decisive match. Fear not Barça fans, tomorrow we will review what makes the Blaugranas feel they can overtake the League leaders at their home turf.

For Real Madrid to win, Cristiano Ronaldo has to be at his best. And he is. His match against Schalke 04 was simply superb: he scored two goals, hit the crossbar twice, and had he had just a bit more luck, his tally could have ended up at five goals in 90 minutes. Plus, the Portuguese seems to be back in tip-top shape after his three week ban in La Liga, and ready to become Barcelona defense’s biggest nightmare.
