Carlos Vives announced the big news on Monday morning to his millions of fans and followers on social media.

He shared a black and white picture of himself happily embracing an upside down guitar as the new front page of Rolling Stone Colombia.

The Colombian singer forms part of this month’s Collectors Edition out February 16th and distributed only in his native country.

“If anything, I’ve contributed for a new generation to look inward. I want to form part of all of them,” he said on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter before thanking Rolling Stone Colombia and Rolling Stone.

Rolling Stone Colombia shared the cover with the caption: “El artista que partió en dos la historia de la música colombiana,” which translates to “The artist that split the history of Colombian music.”
