Alegeus Technologies Announces New Program with Walgreens to Deliver Unique Incentive Opportunities for Healthcare Account Participants
Program will enable Alegeus clients to enhance consumer engagement by
allowing their members to earn Walgreens Balance® Rewards points for
completing certain activities
WALTHAM, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Alegeus

solutions, today announced an agreement with Walgreens that will enable
Alegeus clients – including health insurance plans, third party
administrators, benefit brokers and financial institutions – to enhance
consumer engagement by allowing members to earn Balance® Rewards points
for completing certain healthcare saving or spending activities – such
as enrolling in and funding accounts, activating benefit debit cards,
making certain types of purchases using their cards, or making healthy
decisions.
By virtue of the agreement, participating Alegeus clients will have the
ability to designate specific reward activities that align with their
business objectives – such as increasing account participation,
improving engagement, increasing account and card utilization and making
healthy choices. Members will then have the opportunity to accumulate
Balance® Rewards points that can be redeemed on purchases made at
Walgreens or Walgreens.com.
