MIAMI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–beIN SPORTS, the international sports network, continued its positive
ratings trend this past weekend, delivering a ratings spike with its
live coverage of the always-exciting Liga matchup featuring city rivals
Atlético de Madrid vs. Real Madrid. According to Nielsen Media research,
the broadcast delivered an average of 493,000 total viewers across both
beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS en Español. Otherwise known as the “Madrid
Derby,” the Spanish-language broadcast of the match was number one in
sports programming among Spanish-language cable networks on Sunday,
October 4th.
