Blue Goji to Demonstrate Virtual Reality Enhancement to Award-Winning Goji Play Fitness Game System at the Building a Healthier Future Summit Expo in Washington, D.C. on May 19

AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Blue
Goji
®, a wellness technology company, will demonstrate virtual
reality (VR) enhancements to its award-winning Goji Play fitness game
system at the Building a Healthier Future Summit Expo (hosted by the
Partnership for a Healthier America) in Washington, D.C., on May 19.

Blue Goji is enhancing Goji Play, the company’s core, patent-pending
gamified platform for cardio equipment, and developing new VR games for
various VR platforms and headsets (from manufacturers, such as Oculus,
HTC, and Sony, and Samsung) to deliver a comprehensive and “active” VR
experience. The immersive nature of VR will take Goji Play to the next
level in the gamification of fitness and will allow users to be more
engaged within the game environment while exercising on their favorite
cardio equipment.

“Creating a motion-based, active VR experience that works well with
suitable cardio equipment has always been one of the original design
objectives for Goji Play. Based on our testing results, we believe that,
leveraging cardio equipment like elliptical machines and stationary
bikes, Goji Play will transform and extend the VR environment and
potentially eliminate the motion sickness issue caused by the disconnect
between any VR game motion and the sedentary posture of the user. With
all the major VR platforms being introduced between now and Christmas,
we are very excited to support them with Goji Play, and help resurrect
many underutilized cardio equipment at home or gym memberships. We plan
to introduce at least 5 new VR games by the end of 2016. These new VR
games will be available in normal, 2D versions as well, adding to our
