Denver Bus Shelters Hold Clues to Winning Limited-Edition Snowboards and Skis from FirstBank

FirstBank to award custom snowboards and skis to Instagram followers
during first “Capture the Cube” treasure hunt in Denver

LAKEWOOD, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–FirstBank, Colorado’s largest locally-owned bank, is giving Denver
commuters the chance to win limited-edition skis and snowboards as part
of its hugely popular “Capture the Cube” contest. And the key to winning
is waiting…for the bus.

Between now and Feb. 22, Denver residents will find a series of clues
posted on FirstBank’s
Instagram page
that correlate to an illustrated map of Copper
Mountain located at 21 Denver-area bus shelters. The first person to
match each clue to the correct spot on the map will win one of three
pairs of limited-edition Icelantic skis or three limited-edition
snowboards from Never Summer. Here’s how to spot the clues and win:

1. Follow @efirstbank
on Instagram and keep an eye out for clues (HINT: the image in this
release is today’s clue!)
2. Once the clue is posted to Instagram,
find the character featured in that clue on one of the Copper Mountain
maps posted in 21 Denver-area bus shelters.
3. Snap a photo of the
character in the map and tag @efirstbank directly over the character
from the clue.
4. Hit the slopes with your new gear and tag @efirstbank
in any Instagram photos.

“For the past three years, the only way to win a set of skis or
snowboard through ‘Capture the Cube’ was by visiting Copper Mountain,”
said John Ikard, CEO of FirstBank Holding Company. “This year we wanted
to give even more people the chance to enjoy this fun, interactive
contest by bringing it from the mountains to the city of Denver.”

FirstBank partnered with Never Summer Industries and Icelantic, two
renowned Colorado-based manufacturers, to create the limited-edition
FirstBank snowboard and skis. The Predator Series features a 3D wild
animal Matroyshka graphic including wolf, bobcat, raccoon, and owl
nesting dolls. The snowboard utilizes Never Summer’s patented R.C.
(Rocker & Camber) technology for better edge-hold and stability. The
Icelantic Nomad skis feature balanced flex, 2mm of camber underfoot, and
a rockered tip and tail for the perfect all-mountain freeride ski.

As in previous years, skiers and snowboarders can still visit Copper
Mountain to physically locate one of 99 orange FirstBank cubes placed
throughout the season by following clues on FirstBank’s
Instagram page
. To learn more about Capture the Cube and to see the
prizes up for grabs, visit www.capturethecube.com.
