Egon Zehnder Leads Global Conversation to Cultivate the Next Generation of Women Leaders

Event Series Showcases Renowned Leaders and Daughters

CHICAGO & SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Egon Zehnder, a global leader in executive search and leadership
advisory services, today announced the event series “Leaders and
Daughters: Cultivating the Next Generation of Women Leaders” will be
held on Tuesday, March 8. Chicago and San Francisco will join other Egon
Zehnder offices around the globe participating in this groundbreaking
initiative designed to catalyze a worldwide conversation to inspire and
accelerate opportunities for female leaders of the future.

These landmark events will take place in 16 cities around the world from
March 2 through March 15 to draw global attention to the importance of
fostering and supporting the ambitions of young women to help them
achieve their career potential. The event is timed to support
International Women’s Day, the dedicated celebration of women’s
continued campaign for gender parity. Events will take place across
North and South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Australia.

Panel discussions in Chicago and San Francisco will bring together
prominent board directors, CEOs and leaders, along with their daughters,
many of whom only recently entered the workforce. The events will
explore the opportunities, challenges and expectations of young women
and the solutions needed to foster changes in the workplace to enable
the success of the next generation of female leaders.

“Diversity is critical for growth and continued success of any business.
We strongly believe that diverse and inclusive leaders create a better
world where organizations and economies not only grow but thrive. Yet it
is estimated that gender parity will not be realized in the 21st
Century,” noted Rajeev Vasudeva, Chief Executive Officer at Egon
Zehnder. “It is our responsibility as the global leader in our
profession to create forums where real dialogue can occur and improved
workplace behaviors and opportunities might be realized. Only then can
we change the course of success for female leaders of tomorrow.”

“The percentage of women in executive level and board positions
worldwide remains a significant gap and requires not just committed
attention but focused engagement to cultivate a more aggressive pipeline
of next-generation female leaders,” said Brian Reinken, Partner at Egon
Zehnder. He added, “Our goal with ‘Leaders and Daughters’ is to elevate
the dialogue to better understand what talented young women need to be
successful and to remove the barriers for them to fulfill their
ambitions.”

Each event will capture insights resulting in a global viewpoint to
frame the top considerations and solutions required to effect positive
change for young professional women.

The Mumbai “Leaders and Daughters” event was held on March 2. “Leaders
and Daughters” events take place in Amsterdam and São Paulo on March 7,
in Istanbul and Lisbon on March 15, and in Dubai on a date to be
confirmed.

On March 8, to mark International Women’s Day, “Leaders and Daughters”
will follow the sun with events beginning in Sydney and Singapore,
moving to Düsseldorf, Milan, Paris and London, and finishing in Toronto,
Chicago, Mexico City and San Francisco. “Leaders and Daughters” events
