$1000 Grant Targets Latino Entrepreneurs
CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–As part of its ongoing mission to foster economic growth in developing
communities, ezDinero has announced that today it has launched its first
Latino Small Business Grant Program, titled Avenidas de Oportunidad (”Avenues
The grant program will award $1000 to a chosen Latino-owned small
business on November 2, 2015. The program is the first of its kind to be
offered by ezDinero.
Latino entrepreneurs nationwide are invited to participate in the
contest. The funds are earmarked to assist individuals who are either
launching a new enterprise, or those who need maintenance assistance for

corporate-sponsored entrepreneurship programs and non-traditional
sources of capital for Latino-owned small businesses,” she notes adding
that Latino business owners in the U.S. represent an underserved
population in regards to small business financing.
Applicants are invited to submit their stories and business goals via
the ezDinero website. The ezDinero judging panel will review all
submissions under consideration and evaluate them thoroughly based on
their qualities and inherent worth. The applicant who is awarded the
grant will be asked to share their progress on a quarterly basis.

its profit on a yearly basis to community organizations in underserved
