Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG)s positive results continue to be recognized across the business community. The company has moved up four spots in the annual HispanicBusiness 100 list of the largest Hispanic businesses in the United States. In its 32nd annual edition, HispanicBusiness 100 placed Pan-American Life 11th overall and first in the top five of Hispanic companies in the financial sector and number one on the list of Louisiana based companies.

Today, 30 percent of the companys senior management team, and more than 70 percent of the overall company employees are Hispanic. Additionally, 67 percent of the companys policyholders are of Hispanic origin.
In 2013, Pan-American Life grew its revenues by 17 percent to $653.46 million over the previous year. Total assets reached $3.1 billion and total capital $611 million.
Since 1979, the HispanicBusiness list of the top 500 Hispanic-owned companies in the U.S. has served as a barometer of the U.S. Hispanic economy and of the leading Hispanic businesses in the country. As a result of the current economic climate the number of companies that meet the ranking criteria has been reduced leading HispanicBusiness to limit their index to the top 100 companies.
