Horizon Global to Sponsor 2016 Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix

today that it will be partnering with the 2016 Chevrolet Detroit Belle
Isle Grand Prix on Friday, June 3 through Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Belle
Isle Park in Detroit, Michigan.
Horizon Global is sponsoring this event for the first time since
becoming a public company in July 2015. The three day world-class
automotive event will feature Horizon Global and TriMotive™, a division
of Horizon Global that supplies original equipment manufacturers, on
turn ten of the race track.

The event will feature eight races over the three-day race weekend,
including the only doubleheader weekend on the Verizon IndyCar Series
schedule, the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit presented by Quicken Loans,
racing on Saturday and Sunday live on ABC and locally in Detroit on WXYZ
Channel 7. The exotic sports cars of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar
Championship race in the Chevrolet Sports Car Classic presented by the
Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers on Saturday afternoon live on FS1. Racing
all three days of the Grand Prix is the high-flying trucks of the SPEED
Energy Stadium SUPER Truck Series and returning after a 15-year hiatus
is the Trans Am Series with two invitational races on Saturday and
Sunday, the 3-Dimensional Services Group Motor City 100.
