Ironworks Hotel Indianapolis to Break Ground on June 29

Hendricks Commercial Properties announces groundbreaking event
for the first boutique hotel on Indianapolis’ north side

INDIANAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hendricks Commercial Properties, the developer behind Ironworks at
Keystone, is proud to announce the groundbreaking ceremony for the
five-story Ironworks Hotel Indianapolis, which will be held Wednesday,
June 29 at 10:30 a.m. The hotel will be located adjacent to the
Ironworks at Keystone mixed-use apartment and retail complex, at East 86th
Street and Keystone Avenue and will be the first boutique hotel of
Indianapolis’ north side.

The new 100,000-square-foot hotel, scheduled to open Summer 2017, will
feature 120 guest rooms, small meeting/conference spaces, a fitness
center and a rooftop lounge. It will also offer 15,000-square-feet of
street-level retail space and a second-floor upscale restaurant.

The groundbreaking ceremony will feature remarks by Indianapolis Deputy
Mayor of Economic Development Angela Smith Jones and Visit Indy Senior
Vice President of Sales Daren Kingi, and will be held at the future
location of the Ironworks Hotel, directly west of the Ironworks
apartment complex.

Hendricks entered the Indianapolis market in 2012 with the Ironworks at
Keystone mixed-use development project, which has since received
numerous awards, including the NAIOP-Indiana Best Mixed-Use Development
of 2014, Indy Chamber’s 2015 best “Neighborhood Revitalization” award,
and Indy Chamber’s 2015 best “Real Estate Development” award. Most
recently, Hendricks has been selected to redevelop the former Coca-Cola
bottling plant located on Massachusetts Avenue in downtown Indianapolis.
