“K-Pop, K-Food, K-Beauty, K-Culture, All in One Place”
The World’s Largest K-Culture Festival, “Busan One Asia Festival”
BUSAN, South Korea–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#BEXCO–The world’s largest K-culture festival, 2016 Busan One Asia Festival
will take place across Busan
at venues including Busan Asiad Main Stadium and BEXCO, starting from
Saturday October 1 to Sunday October 23.

Busan One Asia Festival (hereinafter BOF) is a large-scale Hallyu
festival leveraging the city’s beautiful natural landscape, cultural
assets and Hallyu content. It is a large scale festival where
participants can enjoy the genre known as K-culture including: K-pop,
K-food, K-beauty and popular Korean media content, all in one location.
With the One
Asia Opening Performance at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on October
1, various K-pop events including the One Asia K-pop Concert and the One
Asia Korean Wave Stars Fan Meeting will take place during the first
three days. On the 23rd, the last day of the festival, the One
Asia Dream Concert will take place as the event’s grand finale. Some
other programs include the One Asia Cultural Conference, the Running Man
Hands on Experience Program and the One Asia Platform.
In various performances during the BOF period, many celebrities
including Psy, CNBLUE, B1A4, Apink, Girls’ Day, B.A.P, AOA, BTS, SE7EN,
Hwang Chi Yeul, INFINITE, U-Kiss, TWICE, SHINee, GFrined, Gummy and
T-ara will show up. The line-up for even more stars will be announced at
a later date.
Turning to some exhibitions, a food event, “Taste Busan” will open from
Sept. 30 to Oct. 3 at BEXCO, where participants can learn about and
taste various Korean foods and cuisines. Star chefs such as Lee
Yeon-bok, Choi Hyun-seok, Oh Se-deuk, Hong Shin-ae and Ahn Hyun-min will
each conduct their own eye-catching cooking shows with their own
interesting stories in an open kitchen.
At the Korean
Wave Star & Beauty Collection from Sep. 30 to Oct. 9,
participants can virtually meet Korean stars through advanced
technologies such as holograms, VR or 3D. In addition, the trends of
K-beauty will be presented through makeup artists’ makeup shows, free
makeup experiences, and the K-beauty market.
