Mississippi’s Veterans’ Home Purchase Board Updates Website

JACKSON, Miss.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Veterans’ Home Purchase Board of the State of Mississippi recently
unveiled a new, mobile-friendly website. The new design has been
streamlined to make it more usable, intuitive and accessible than ever
before. The site now provides Mississippi veterans with mobile access to
application packets, interest rates, and eligibility information.

The Board provides low interest mortgages to Mississippi veterans who
meet eligibility requirements. On average, the interest rates offered by
the Board are one to two percent below market rate. To be eligible for a
mortgage, applicants must be a resident of Mississippi and a veteran,
current active duty military personnel, or current member of the
Mississippi national guard or reserves with over six years of service.
