Nearly 2,000 Communities Attest to Phase 1 of Argentum Standards of Senior Living

Argentum launches development process for Phase 2, looking to
identify more comprehensive quality standards

ALEXANDRIA, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–This year, Argentum launched the first phase of professional standards
for operators of senior living communities, complementing the state laws
and regulations governing the operation of those communities.

The standards represent an essential part of demonstrating the senior
living industry’s commitment to excellence in consumer and resident
rights, quality improvement, workforce practices and regulatory
compliance. With additional attestations forthcoming, 1,964 communities
from member and non-member owners/operators already have attested their
compliance to these standards: Atria Senior Living; Belmont Village
Senior Living; Benchmark Senior Living; Brandywine Living; Brightview
Senior Living; Brookdale; Century Park Associates; Closup I, Inc. d.b.a.
Edenton; Commonwealth Assisted Living; Elmcroft Senior Living; Era
Living LLC; Five Star Senior Living; Garlands of Barrington; Hearth

Senior Living; Legend Senior Living; Life Care Services; Meridian Senior
Living; Merrill Gardens; New Perspective Senior Living; Pathway Senior
Living; Sagora Senior Living; Senior Lifestyle Corp.; Senior Living

“Standards compliance is a meaningful symbol that a senior living
community meets demanding quality expectations,” said Argentum CEO &
President James Balda. “It provides peace of mind to residents and their
families, demonstrating that extra steps have been taken to ensure
comfort, health and happiness.”

Argentum is continuing to gather insight from internal and external
partners in order to expand on the Phase 1 standards and help identify
more comprehensive quality standards for Phase 2 and beyond. More
