Over 200 ABRA Auto Body & Glass Locations Earn NSF Certification

MINNEAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a leading national damaged vehicle repair
company, is pleased to announce it has earned NSF certification for over
200 of its auto body shops through NSF International’s Collision Repair
Shop Certification Program.

As the first auto body repairer certified by NSF International, ABRA is
leading the way in the industry, demonstrating an on-going commitment to
performing high-quality, safe auto body repairs in every one of its auto
body shops. Consumers benefit from NSF International’s oversight as it
verifies these certified ABRA locations perform high-quality and
consistent repairs, use and maintain proper equipment for the job, have
qualified personnel, use quality parts, and provide excellent customer
service.

ABRA has a long history of repairing damaged vehicles to high quality
standards. “This is one more validation we do it right,” says Scott
Krohn, chief process and quality officer at ABRA. “Our number one
priority is ensuring the vehicles we repair are safe for drivers and
their passengers when they return to the road. Earning the sought after
NSF International Collision Repair Shop Certification demonstrates our
organization’s unwavering commitment to safety at every level.”

Earning NSF International certification is very much about exceeding the
minimum expectation, something ABRA does quite well. “NSF
International’s independent certification program goes beyond a typical
validation program to evaluate a shop’s ability to conduct quality
repairs,” said Dave Parzen, senior technical project manager for NSF
International. “ABRA’s auto body shops certified by NSF International
excel in quality, customer service, and environmental protection.”

In order to maintain certification, each ABRA location will undergo
annual third-party audits along with monthly internal audits which
demonstrate consistent achievement of all requirements of the NSF
International Collision Repair Shop Certification Program.

ABRA previously announced the certification of 70 of its centers in
August of last year and has been working diligently since to expand
certification across its network of auto body shops. The company intends
to continue working toward certifying all 335 auto body shops in its
portfolio.
