Party City Donates Halloween Costumes to Candlelighters NYC Pediatric Patients

ROCKAWAY, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Party City (NYSE:PRTY) Executive Chairman, Gerry Rittenberg, and the
nonprofit Candlelighters NYC, surprised kids fighting cancer and their
families with Halloween costumes, at the 14^th Street store in
Manhattan Saturday morning. Choosing from a wall of nearly 3,000 costume
options, and trick-or-treating at the 60 ft. long Candy City, the kids’
Halloween wishes were granted.

“Halloween is a time for fantasy, and when kids can escape reality, if
even for a day,” said Gerry Rittenberg, Executive Chairman of Party City

the excitement of Halloween and I was honored to partner with
Candlelighters NYC to provide these deserving kids the chance to dress
up. One mom even said, “It was the first time I’ve seen my daughter

Norah got to pick their own costumes – they chose princess costumes, of
course! We were greeted with smiles and hugs, and the generosity was
