Satellite Healthcare and the Bay Area Association of Kidney Patients Invite the Community to Attend a Free Presentation about Chronic Kidney Disease; Help! I Just Discovered I Have Kidney Disease! What Do I Do Now?
SAN JOSE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Satellite Healthcare, a leading national not-for-profit provider of

Kidney Patients’ (BAAKP) upcoming Fall Educational Presentation on
Sunday, September 20 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. The interactive talk titled
“Help! I just discovered I have Kidney Disease! What do I do now?” will
take place at Alta Bates Summit Hospital (350 Hawthorne Ave., Oakland)
in Merritt Pavilion meeting rooms FIR 1 & 2. All interested community
members are encouraged to attend this free event.
Nephrologist Hussain Gilani, M.D., of Chabot Nephrology Medical Group,
will share practical and up-to-date information about what newly
diagnosed Chronic Kidney Disease patients and their family members need
to know about the disease, and address patients’ most frequently voiced
questions and concerns. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity
to have their questions about diet and nutrition answered by a Satellite
Healthcare renal dietitian.
