SHRM to Discuss National Study of Employers on Facebook Live on March 8

Survey examines workplace policies and practices as the needs of the
workforce change

ALEXANDRIA, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#HR–The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) will release the National
Study of Employers
on Wednesday, March 8. One of the study’s authors
— Ellen Galinsky, president and co-founder of the Families and Work
Institute — will talk about key findings of the research and answer
questions in a Facebook Live session that day.

Questions can be submitted to Galinsky, a senior research advisor at
SHRM, on Facebook and Twitter via the hashtag #SHRMNSE or emailed to press@shrm.org.

What: The National Study of Employers is a comprehensive
look at employer practices, policies, programs and benefits that address
the personal and family needs of employees. The study examines flexible
work arrangements, paid and unpaid parental and other caregiver leave,
and elder-care assistance, among other practices.

The survey of more than 900 U.S. employers with 50 or more employees was
conducted by the Families and Work Institute and will be released by
SHRM as part of the When Work Works initiative.
