Spectrum Brands Debuts Its Newest Products From Leading Consumer Brands at the 2017 International Home + Housewares Show

Food Network Star & Celebrity Chef Jeff Mauro to Showcase New
Advanced Kitchen Prep and Grilling Appliances With Onsite Demonstrations

MIDDLETON, Wis.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:SPB) will debut a variety of new
home appliances from the BLACK+DECKER® and George Foreman® brands at the
2017 International Home + Housewares Show. The show will take place from
March 18th to the 21st at the McCormick Place
Exposition Center in Chicago, Illinois. Show attendees are invited to
visit the Spectrum booth (#L11315, Lakeside) for live demonstrations and
experience the latest additions in the Company’s portfolio.

Food Network Star and Celebrity Chef from The Kitchen Jeff Mauro
will be stationed at the Spectrum booth to demonstrate new BLACK+DECKER®
and George Foreman® appliances featuring his specially-curated recipes.
Chef Mauro is currently the host of the hit daytime show The Kitchen and
a partner and executive chef of Pork & Mindy’s restaurants.
Booth attendees will have the chance to meet Chef Mauro and sample his
creations on March 18th and 19th.

With help from demonstrations led by Chef Mauro, the George Foreman®
Five Serving Grill & Broil™, the brand’s latest invention in fast and
simple at-home cooking, will be on display. The Grill & Broil takes the
classic George Foreman grill and combines it with the convenience of
countertop broiling: allowing users to grill, broil, and melt all in one
appliance, providing endless meal options.

The brand will also introduce its new Rapid Grill Series, the fastest
George Foreman grills with enhanced heating technology. The new series
features faster pre-heat and more even cooking (than prior George
Foreman grills) along with extendable hinges, tilting slopes, variable
time and temperature settings, and digital displays.

Spectrum Brands will also showcase an assortment of thoughtful,
innovative new BLACK + DECKER® products, including the BLACK+DECKER®
MultiPrep Slice ‘N Dice, which features a commercial-style dicer for
creating precise 8mm cubes at home. The MultiPrep has a dual-sided
julienne disk and reversible shredding and grating disk for ultimate
food prep versatility. Users can switch from thick to thin slices
without changing the MultiPrep’s blades, and all parts can be stored in
its included compact storage case.

Spectrum Brands will also showcase its new BLACK + DECKER® SpiraLuxe™
6-in-1 Electric Spiralizer, a spiralizing tool that comes with
color-coded, easy-clean blades for creating thin, thick, and ribbon
noodles as well as thin, thick, and wavy slices. In addition, the brand
will preview new products from its beverage, heated cooking, and garment
categories, including new Ombré Pattern Slow Cookers, a 5-Cup Coffee
Station, and its Impact Iron, which will be on display at the New
Product Showcase.
