Struggling Students Find Success at Oklahoma Online School in 2016

— Students return to online public school August 16th

MIDWEST CITY, Okla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Students at Insight School of Oklahoma (ISOK), a tuition-free,
online public school, will begin their 2016-2017 school year on August
16, thankful for a place where they can learn within a unique and highly
supportive environment. Students attending ISOK come from diverse
backgrounds, many of them struggling at traditional brick and mortar
schools before finding ISOK.

Oklahoma students in grades 7 through 12 are welcome to attend ISOK. The
school’s comprehensive education approach focuses on providing
struggling students with the academic, social and emotional support
needed to succeed in school and beyond. The online learning environment
allows students to work at their own pace, giving them time to progress
faster in subjects at which they excel, while spending more time on
subjects and lessons where they need more help.

ISOK excels in providing targeted support for struggling students. By
utilizing special programs like the Social and Emotional Learning
Program, students are able to tailor their educational experience so
that they are set up to succeed both academically and personally.

“We are dedicated to unlocking each student’s full potential,” said
Sheryl Tatum, head of school of Insight School of Oklahoma. “It has
never been more important for students to finish high school, and we at
ISOK come to work every day determined to help our students succeed.”

At ISOK, state-certified teachers provide instruction, guidance and
support, and regularly interact with students and parents via email,
web-based classrooms, online discussions, phone and face-to-face
meetings. This ensures that students and their families feel supported
yet challenged in their education in a way that may be different for
every student. ISOK also provides programs like The Family Academic
Support Team—a holistic approach to education that empowers students to
overcome challenges through early intervention and support services
provided directly to students and their families.

Earlier this summer, ISOK challenged enrolled families to prevent summer
‘brain drain’ by offering students free access to LearnBop,
a self-paced solution that simulates a one-on-one, personalized math
tutoring experience. The award-winning online program will continue to
be available free of charge throughout the fall and can be used
alongside the regular math curriculum to build math skills or prepare
for high-level exams.

ISOK is still accepting enrollments for this fall. To learn more about
