Firms included on the 2016 “Best Law Firms” list are recognized for

Thompson Hine received 122 rankings, including 70 first-tier rankings,
eight of which are national first-tier rankings in the areas of

The report, in its sixth year, is compiled by surveying thousands of law
firm clients and lawyers. Firms are then ranked for their experience,
responsiveness, understanding of a business and its needs,
cost-effectiveness, civility and whether a client or lawyer would refer
business to a firm. The mission of the “Best Law Firms” rankings is to
help guide referring lawyers and clients who are seeking corporate legal
advice.
The 2016 rankings are based on the highest number of participating firms
and highest number of client ballots on record. To be eligible for a
ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in
America®, which recognizes the top 4 percent of
practicing attorneys in the U.S. Over 21,000 attorneys provided almost
700,000 law firm assessments, and almost 8,000 clients provided more
than 47,000 evaluations.
