ZURU Wins Preliminary Injunction in Patent Suit with Telebrands

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ZURU™ announced today that a Federal District Court of Texas has granted
Tinnus Enterprises and ZURU Ltd.’s motion for a preliminary injunction
against Telebrands’ Battle Balloons product. Pending the order
formalities, the injunction will come into effect in the U.S. to
prohibit Telebrands from further importation and sale of their Battle
Balloons product due to infringement on the U.S. Patents (Nos. 9,232,749
and 9,315,282) which protect the Bunch O Balloons product.

Anna Mowbray, Chief Operating Officer of ZURU, stated, “The preliminary
injunction reaffirms what was already clear, that Telebrands’ Battle
Balloons infringes upon our Bunch O Balloons patent. We are pleased that
the judge has ruled to protect our rights and bar this counterfeit
product from the marketplace. It is important to us, our retail
customers and consumers that only the best product, the original Bunch O
Balloons, are available in the market. This injunction sends a clear
message that innovation cannot be tampered with.”
