Indeed, the 29-year-old is and it can be seen in her latest act of kindness when she granted one young lady with a $3,000 scholarship.

“With much pleasure and pride, I present you the winner of ‘Win a Scholarship With Chiquis,’” Chiquis wrote on her Instagram. “Her name is Ariana Toscano! Congratulations @Atostitos. I’m so proud of you for taking this brave step in your life… I Pray for all the best to come your way!”

In a recent interview with VOXXI, the Mexican songstress talked about her fan club Boss Bee Nation and how she and her fans have a vision to make the world a better place.

“If we we’re going to do something, then it has to be a positive thing,” she said. “So, I decided to give out scholarships.”

In order to make this possible, the “Esa No Soy Yo” singer partnered with Tu Vision Canal and together they took the initiative to grant a $3,000 scholarships to two struggling college students.

But like everything else in life, those students had to work for it, and this included a competition where the person sent their story via a video. Fans later took a vote on their favorite ones and Chiquis made the ultimate decision from the top five choices.

Chiquis expressed to us how difficult it was for her, ” If I had like a lot of money, I’d be like ‘here, all of you, just go to college.’”
