What’s Pitbull doing in Taylor Swift’s ‘Blank Space’?

We’ve discovered what Pitbull likes to do in his spare time –she’s called Taylor Swift. But wait! Before you go on to assuming things, let us explain.

It seems as if the Miami-based rapper has become a “Swifty” (Swift’s fan base) after presenting her performance of “Blank Space” at the 2014 American Music Awards earlier this year.

He enjoyed her showcase so much, that there’s even a nearly one-minute long Pitbull remix making the rounds on YouTube.

“This is one of my favorite records out right now, and when I hosted the AMA’s and I seen Taylor Swift knock her performance out the park, I said ‘I gotta jump on this,’” he said while “Blank Space” plays in the background.

Ultimately, Mr. Worldwide, jumped on it, and his rhyme went like this:

Pitbull is you filling the blank, pitbull is filling up every bank.

I am who I am, I am who they ain’t .. I do what I do, I do what they can’t.

I’ve been raised different, so it’s hard to show affection, imperfection is perfection … now that’s perfect.

Just know that I love you, no matter how deep the hurt gets.

Love is pain… I grew up of the NBA, so you know I love this game.

Chess, not Checkers, I’ve said it before.

My name alone, breaks up happy homes.

It’s been a long road… great nights, great memories, can’t remember those,

So don’t look at me with a blank face, when I put your name on this blank space.

The snippet has garnered over 25,000 views, with a couple of negative comments on board.

“Nooo! ‘Blank Space’ is my favorite song. Pitbull you ruined it,” wrote one YouTube user. “Pitbull ruining songs since ancient times,” read another comment.

We’re pretty sure Mr. 305 could care less about these comments; instead, he’s probably finding a way to release the actual remix of “Blank Space.”

Or, he could just be preparing for his first-ever New Year’s Eve extravaganza taking place in Miami, Fla., which you most probably don’t want to miss.
