Selena Gomez isnt going to tolerate bullying in any way.
The singer made a huge statement by calling out a fan on Instagram on July 12 who left a distasteful comment about cancer.

The follower reportedly wrote that Gomez should “burn in hell with cancer,” which prompted the pop star to respond.

The comment you left about cancer was absurd. How distasteful of young woman. I have gone through that battle with fans and family members. You can dislike someone but to wish something that could happen to you or your family is uncalled for sweetheart.” Gomez added, “You wont be winning anyones heart that way. Trust me. Educate yourself a tad more. God bless love. Be an amazing woman. Youre beautiful.
Selenas caption to the post read, Honestly, I dont speak up much because its simply *always* taken out of context. But I dont take bullying well. I have seen too much to not say anything.
Gomez’s direct and mature response won support from many of her loyal fans, as it was liked more than 400,000 times.
This isn’t the first time that she’s done this. Back in December, the singer also played referee when one of her Instagram followers encouraged on another fan to commit self-harm. Gomez posted this message:
Fans support Selena Gomez after she sends powerful message about bullying.
Bullying Is Not Cool. “Smile girl. They’re never worth it.. You’re beautiful.” – Selena Gomez to a fan who was going through bullying.
