RADNOR, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE: LNC) announced today that Karen
Fowler-Williams, senior vice president of Employee Relations, has
received Profiles in Diversity Journal’s 2015 Women Worth
Watching® award in recognition of her passion, potential and positive
influence inside and outside the workplace. The women highlighted in
this year’s issue represent corporations, government agencies and
nonprofits from across North America and Europe.

Fowler-Williams joined Lincoln Financial Group in 1989, and she has been
an integral part of the company’s Human Resources leadership team, which
is responsible for HR governance enterprise-wide. In her role, she
oversees HR policy development, employee relations, Equal Employment
Opportunity (EEO) compliance and risk management, threat assessment,

workforce and in the community,” said Allison Green, senior vice
president and chief diversity officer for Lincoln Financial Group. “She
joins 100 other business trailblazers, who are well-deserving of this
honor for their tireless contributions and renowned leadership abilities
in their respective business. We extend to her our sincere
congratulations for receiving this award.”

As part of her submission for the award, Fowler-Williams advised others
to “take the risky path not the safe one.”

The magazine’s annual September/October issue celebrates the
achievements and personalities of 100 leading women executives, who are
nominated by their colleagues, peers and mentors, for their initiative
and achievements. To be considered for the award, nominees must hold a
senior executive management position, sit on the board of directors, or
