Love Your Melon Donates $414,095 from Cyber Monday Sales to Find Cure for Cancer with Help from Facebook & Shopify

lives of children battling cancer, is excited to announce that its Cyber
Monday sales have generated more than $414,095 in funds to fight
pediatric cancer. With the help of Facebook
and Shopify,
Love Your Melon was able to leverage digitally-driven promotional and
sales platforms that led to the most successful day in the company’s
history. This $414,095 will be donated to Love Your Melon’s nonprofit
to aid in finding a cure for cancer.

As a part of the company’s Cyber Monday preparation, Love Your Melon ran
a total of 17 Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns that resulted
in a total of more than 350 individual advertisements. Total capital
spent on Facebook and Instagram advertising for Cyber Monday 2016 totals
around $180,000 with a $815,329 return on investment. Love Your Melon’s
Cyber Monday advertising campaigns led to a click-through rate of 2.00%
on all advertisements throughout the day.

“Our product release approach is unique. As such, we are forced to look
at advertising from a different perspective. We analyzed our customer
segments and utilized Facebook’s audience creation tools to layer ads
across multiple ad sets for each of our 10 product releases on Cyber
Monday. On one of advertising’s most expensive days of the year, we were
able to create a unique strategy with Facebook and Shopify as our
partners. Our ability to increase product sales through advertising will
impact thousands of children battling cancer in America,” said Zachary

With Shopify as a digital purchasing partner, Love Your Melon processed
nearly 51,888 orders on Cyber Monday 2016 through the company’s website.
On Friday, December 2, Love Your Melon will partner with Shopify’s
newest online sales app, Frenzy,
which helps consumers purchases items that are part of exclusive
product releases. Love Your Melon is one of the first national consumer
brands working with Shopify’s Frenzy app, which launched in time
for this year’s Black Friday.
