Time Warner Cable Deportes Announces Comprehensive Coverage and Original Programs Dedicated to the LA Galaxy

Time Warner Cable Deportes today announced details of the comprehensive coverage and original studio programs that it will dedicate to the LA Galaxy. The lineup includes live game telecasts and a unique documentary-style series designed to give the team’s Spanish-speaking fan base unrivaled access to the four-time MLS Cup champions.

All LA Galaxy games on Time Warner Cable Deportes, home and away, will be produced by a dedicated team and called live by analyst Martin “El Pulpo” Zúñiga and play-by-play announcer Samuel Jacobo. Sideline commentary will be done by Elmur Souza with special correspondent Enrique Aníbal Gutiérrez and veteran hosts Hipólito Gamboa and Ricardo Celis alternating as in-studio anchors. To further enhance LA Galaxy team coverage, special guest commentators including Christian Bozzo and Steve Sampson will also join the team during live game and in-studio presentations.

Galaxy En Vivo

is a live, one-hour pre-game show that will cover every angle of the team and its players prior to kick-off.

Vamos Galaxy

offers viewers a complete post-game analysis of Galaxy games including player and coach interviews, interactive fan participation segments. Vamos

Galaxy will also air for all LA Galaxy games, including national broadcasts.

Galaxy Confidencial is a unique original bi-weekly series that chronicles the LA Galaxy story like never before. Every Galaxy Confidencial brings viewers a new level of access to their favorite team from intimate one-on-one interviews with its star players, to exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the team in the locker room and on the road. This year, the series will feature a minimum of 20 episodes.

Galaxy Compactos will consist of LA Galaxy games condensed into a fast-paced, one-hour format featuring added sights, sounds, reaction and commentary not included in the original game telecast.

La Academia will present select LA Galaxy Academy reserve matches condensed into a one-hour format. The show will include game highlights as well as reactions and interviews with players, coaching staff and families.

Momentos Deportivos is a thirty-minute highlight show that will bring viewers the best plays and goals from select LA Galaxy matches throughout the entire season.

To supplement its all-access coverage of the LA Galaxy, Time Warner Cable Deportes’ programming lineup will also feature one daily studio show dedicated to up to the minute activity happening with local and international soccer.

Tu Show Del Fútbol offers daily updates on the most important activity happening with the LA Galaxy as well as the Mexican, South-American and European soccer leagues. The expert analysis of show hosts, Martin Zúñiga and Elmur Souza can be seen on Tu Show Del Fútbol

nightly at 6:00p.m. with an extended one-hour version airing on Sundays at 8:00 p.m.
