Zootly and Turning Point Brooklyn Join Forces to Fight Homelessness

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Zootly, LLC (“Zootly”), a technology company transforming the moving and
logistics industry, launched its philanthropic campaign to fight
homelessness and to change the perception of homelessness in the U.S.
Starting today, Zootly will make a donation to a non-profit organization
supporting homelessness in the communities in which it operates.
Zootly’s first contribution in the NYC-area will be to support Turning
Point Brooklyn, a non-profit organization in Brooklyn that shelters
young women, transitioning them to independent living and providing
starter kits for essentials to help them with their move.

“At Zootly, we spend a lot of time moving individuals from one home to
their next home. We are honored by the faith and trust that our
customers have placed in us, and we believe that every individual
deserves a place to call home,” said Rudy Callegari, Zootly Founder and
Brooklyn native. “In the spirit of the holiday season, we are making a
donation to Turning Point and look forward to supporting their good work
and other similar partners in the future.”

“The entire Turning Point Brooklyn family, clients, and staff alike, are
beaming with gratitude and energized by the generous support and
recognition of Zootly. We are honored that Zootly joins us in our
mission to open eyes and hearts, and to change the perception of
homelessness all across our country,” said Tata Traore-Rogers, Executive
Director of Turning Point Brooklyn. “Zootly’s generosity will further
empower us to continue to assist the “at potential” Brooklynites in
Sunset Park and Red Hook to achieve independent living and
self-sufficiency. This kind of acknowledgment and support keeps Turning
Point Brooklyn on our mission.”

About Zootly

Traditional moving services require a multi-hour booking reserved days,
weeks and even months in advance. By contrast, Zootly, launched in 2015,
deploys vehicles and staff on short notice via the Zootly app.
Residential or commercial customers can then track movers and trucks
from their phones to get instant updates. Businesses benefit from the
on-demand services, which allow them to complete business moves or
deliver their products or equipment efficiently without the costly
overhead of owning trucks and employing delivery crews. Zootly works by
aggregating underutilized moving vehicles and moving teams through its
licensed, insured, experienced and customer service-oriented partners
via the Zootly app. Zootly moves within a 100-mile radius of Manhattan
with plans to expand to other cities in 2016.
