After making a splash at the 2014 World Cup as Colombia’s top scorer, soccer sensation James Rodriguez is no stranger to the media.
This time around the 23-year-old has posted a picture of him with fan Cristopher, a child with a disability.
Before the Colombia vs. El Salvador game that took place on Friday night in New Jersey, Rodriguez approached Cristopher, said hello, and went on to lead his team to a 3-0 victory over El Salvador.

Rodriguez later posted a picture of him and Cristopher, which he posted on his instagram.
“You are an incredible person Cristopher. Always with a smile, you show off happiness and love. God bless you always,” wrote Rodriguez in the pictures caption.

Aside from revealing himself as a great person, he is also a great soccer player.
Known as ‘El Nino’, he became a professional player at the age of 15 for the Colombian team Envigado, where players such as Fredy Guarin, Dorlan Pabon and Juan Quintero also developed.
From there he played in places like Argentina and Europe where he ended up staying in Portugal.
There he won three league titles along with the Europa League and then went on to sign with Monaco for 45 million euros.
Due to all the success throughout his very young career, Rodriguez landed a spot in Real Madrid earlier this reportedly signing a contract for £63 million, making him the 4th most expensive soccer transfer of all time.
Now he can be recently remembered for winning the Golden Boot after scoring six goals at the Brazilian World Cup with players Mueller and Messi also in search for the Boot but coming short.
Rodriguez lead Colombia to reach its first quarter-final in a World Cup but unfortunately they lost 1-2 to Brazil, the host team.
