With the 2014 World Cup just days away, the excitement in Brazil and all around the world is coming together to experience a historic moment in soccer.

Those making their way to Brazil are very fortunate and will have a chance to experience the country and its culture.

A good way to help people connect to other cultures is through music… and that is exactly what “Show de Bola” aims to do.

Show de Bola,” a website distributed by Warner Music Brasil, is a way to connect people using soccer and music.

The interactive site matches music, culture, curiosities and soccer.

With the help of Spotify, it’s primarily based on playlists that are divided by themes, which also help create player awareness.

The playlists that connect music and soccer:

When Brazil won the cup:

  • It will include the times that Brazil has won the World Cup, focused on moments to remember from five compilations; 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, and 2002.

Moods:

  • This will include songs in relation to a persons mood due to a game result.

National teams:

  • There will be playlists introducing national team hits with an interesting story and a connection to previous matches.

Warner artists and celebrities:

  • These will include guests such as sports celebrities and artists will be able to put together their own playlist inspired by the World Cup.

This allows for artists from all over the world to be a part of the experience bringing diversity to the table.

Some of the playlist will have the opportunity to be psychically released in an album form available in Brazil and internationally.
