Launch of Dog Days of Summer This Sunday at Chase Field

Unique Photo Opps of Pet Parents and Dogs Enjoying the D-backs Game
vs. Cubs on PetSmart Patio in Doggie Suites; Adoptable Dogs at
First-Ever Season-Long Adoption Program; Dog-Friendly Ice Cream Stand




The launch of the Dog Days of Summer, a unique program by
PetSmart, Inc. and the Arizona Diamondbacks to create the
first-ever season-long dog-friendly ballpark with a dedicated new PetSmart
Patio, PetSmart Park
(indoor and outdoor parks) and the Dog
Days of Summer
program where dog-loving fans can bring their
dogs to all 13 Sunday D-backs home games in the 2016 season.



Sunday, April 10, 2016; 1:10 p.m. game/gates open at 11:30 a.m.

Photo Opps: 11:30 a.m.–1:10 p.m.



Chase Field, in the permanent dog-friendly facilities including
the PetSmart Patio with sold-out seating in its 30 doggie
suites; PetSmart Park(s), as well as the dog-friendly ice
cream stand that will serve up all-you-can-lick strawberry,
vanilla and swirltreats for the dog-fans. The Arizona Humane
Society will be also be adopting out dogs in The Adopt Spot by
MLB’s first-ever season-long adoption program at an
MLB stadium.



Dogs enjoying a ball game…dogs playing on the baseball diamond on
the outdoor park…dogs licking ice cream…pet parents enjoying the
game with their best friend…adoptable dogs waiting for their
forever homes at The Adopt Spot by PetSmart featuring our
partner, Arizona Humane Society. Adoptable dogs can be taken home
by their new families directly from the ballpark that day.



This is a unique, first-of-its kind program in Major League Baseball
where a stadium now has permanent, season-long dog-friendly
