60-Foot Wahoo Racer Now Open and Park Extends the 2016 Operating Season

MARIETTA, Ga.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#DiveBomber–Consistently named one of the Nation’s Top Water Parks, Six Flags White
Water announces the opening of the all-new Wahoo Racer water
slide at the South’s Most Thrilling Water Park. The high-thrill
multi-lane water slide complex is the largest in the world and adds to
the park’s impressive line-up of more than 50 slides and attractions.

Six Flags White Water is also announcing an extended season in 2016,
adding 11 operating days in September and October. The water park will
be open the entire week of Cobb County Schools Fall Break in September.

“We are thrilled to debut Wahoo Racer, an exhilarating water slide for
the entire family to race against one another to see who reigns
supreme,” said Six Flags Atlanta Properties Park President Dale Kaetzel.
“The benefits of a 2016 combo season pass or membership to Six Flags
Atlanta Properties just got better with the addition of Wahoo Racer and
the expanded 2016 operating calendar.”

The two-tiered mat slider will send racers through an intense,
snake-like stretch and then onto track-like style sprinting lanes,
featuring:

  • A tower standing 60-feet and easily visible from Interstate 75 where
    the park is located;
  • Speeds of up to 40 feet per second;
  • 7,200 feet of translucent water slide tubes; and
  • Six aero-dynamic designed water toboggans for the ultimate competing
    thrill.

Returning for the fourth season – Dive-In Movies at the Atlanta Ocean
Wave Pool. Every Thursday evening in June and July, guests can watch
family-favorite movies on a massive 15 by 30 foot outdoor screen, while
relaxing at the wave pool.

Six Flags White Water is now open for the 2016 season. The water park is
open May 21-22 and then daily from May 26 through July 31. Weekend
