Weekend Programming Continues Positive Ratings Trend as 2015-16 Soccer Season Progresses on beIN SPORTS

La Liga Matchups Featuring Real Madrid and Barcelona Beat Out English
Premier League and Liga MX Matches in Viewership

MIAMI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–beIN SPORTS, the international sports network, continued its positive
ratings trend this past weekend with La Liga’s matches featuring Real
Madrid and Barcelona averaging higher than the English Premier League on
NBC Sports Network and NBC Universo. According to Nielsen Media
Research, coverage of Real Madrid and Barcelona has delivered an average
of 566,000 total viewers across both beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS en
Español. The English Premier League delivered an average of 541,000
total viewers across both NBC Sports and NBC Universo.

beIN SPORTS’ coverage continued to surpass ratings when measured against
other networks as well. The September 12th La Liga match between
Atlético Madrid and Barcelona out-delivered the America vs. Tigres Liga
MX match on Univision Deportes among audiences between the ages of
18-49; beIN SPORTS en Español delivered an average of 219,000 total
viewers, beating Univision’s average audience of 174,000.

While live soccer coverage continues a successful run, original beIN
SPORTS’ original programming continues to prove to be a fan favorite.
Leading into the Atlético Madrid vs. Barcelona match on September 12th,
beIN SPORTS en Español’s “Express Pre-game show” drew higher viewership
than Univision Deportes’ Futbol Central pre-game show prior to their
America vs. Tigres match, averaging a total of 152,000 viewers while
Futbol Central on Univision Deportes reached an average of 103,000 total
viewers.

Serie A, the top Italian soccer league that is seen exclusively on beIN
SPORTS, also scored ratings wins over the weekend. On September
13th, the Inter vs. AC Milan matchup, otherwise known as the “Milan
Derby,” on beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS en Español collectively
out-delivered the MLS Orlando City SC vs. KC Sporting match on Fox
Sports 1 and Fox Deportes. Coverage of the Inter vs. AC Milan match
reached an average of 166,000 total viewers across both networks, while
the Orlando City SC vs. KC Sporting match reached an average of 150,000
total viewers across the Fox Networks.

Serie A’s Milan Derby on beIN SPORTS en Español also averaged higher
than Univision Deportes’ LIGA MX Unam vs. Veracruz match among Hispanic
audiences between the ages of 18-49. The Serie A match on beIN SPORTS en
Español reached an average of 61,000 viewers, while the Liga MX match
reached an average of 60,000 viewers on Univision Deportes.
