Luis Suarez, in just 180 minutes, has managed to score two goals to kick England out of the championship, and make headlines around the planet for his cannibal interpretation featuring Italys Giorgio Chiellini. Lionel Messi carried Argentina with his magic to the second round of the tournament. Neymar has led a weakened, and otherwise unimpressive, Brazilian attack in the first two weeks of the tournament, and has already cashed in four goals for the Canarinha.
These South American attackers may very well be the top three players in the tournament, probably competing with Robben, Benzema and Alexis, and Barça is looking to seeing all three suiting up in red and blue next season.

After a disastrous year, in which the team did not manage to win a single major trophy –just the Spanish Super Cup–, the Cules are planning a total revamp of their squad, and the signing of a star forward is a top priority for them.
Luis Suarez makes FC Barcelona’s mouth water
Luis Suarez, his transfer rated at over 90 million euros, is the best poised target for Barcelona, and the idea of the Uruguayan teaming up with Neymar and Messi upfront sends chills down the spines of all big clubs in the Champions League next year.
Suarez has been suspended by FIFA due to the allegations by Italy about his incident with Chiellini, and will be out of play for 9 games with his national team and 4 months off of any soccer pitch. While this could put his transfer in the back burner for Barça, according to the local press, the club has made up their mind and will continue to push through after having reached an agreement with the player on potential contract terms.
The idea in Barcelona is that similar characters to Suarez, like Hristo Stoichkov and Samuel Etoo, actually were quite successful at the club, so theres no reason for the Uruguayan not to exceed expectations as a blaugrana.

Liverpools striker actually has the perfect profile to team up seamlessly with Neymar and Messi.
The Brazilian leads the World Cup as its top goal scorer, tied with Messi, and has added a different dimension to Barcelonas attack. In his first season, he has been more shy than usual, and has clearly not wanted to overstep on any toes, but after an already successful World Cup, and with the imminent possibility of actually keeping the trophy at home, it is very reasonable to think that next year he can finally explode in Europe soccer.
His association with Lio Messi, who has also become the clear leader all Argentina fans demanded him to become, could be terrifying.
A fully fit Messi and Suarez would be a nightmare to opposing teams
If Messi can keep up the level of performances produced in Brazil this summer, we could witness the return of his best version, which would complement Neymars beautifully. The two attackers are extremely skilled and can execute the most complicated plays at the speed of light.
They are both capable of scoring over 30 goals a season, something Luis Suarez has also managed to do this season, garnering him the honor of winning the Golden Boot, as Europes top striker, tied with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Barcelona has a very clear vision for the next season: to bring as much top-tier talent as possible, to make up for the exit of its team pillars Valdes, Puyol, Xavi and Cesc.
Other signings for Barcelona
So far, they have signed Rakitic (Croatias only bright spot in Brazil), Claudio Bravo (Chiles impressive goalkeeper) and Ter Stegen (Germanys next big name in goal), while theres been an increasing interest on Germanys do-it-all boy Tony Kroos.
If they can know capitalize on their yearning to bring Suarez on board, even after his ban is over, Camp Nou loyals will be in for a ride come next October.
