Kansas Online School Offers Students a Safe and Supportive Learning Environment

— Students return to online public school August 16th

OLATHE, Kan.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Students at Kansas
Virtual Academy
(KSVA), an accredited, tuition-free, online public
school, will begin their 2016-2017 school year on August 16 in a safe
and engaging educational environment. The school is a program within the
Spring Hill School District, however, is open to any student residing in
Kansas.

KSVA’s mission is to help students discover, develop and achieve their
maximum learning potential. The individualized learning approach gives
students in grades K through 6 an exceptional learning experience. The
online environment allows students to work at their own pace within
parameters, giving them time to progress faster in subjects at which
they excel, while spending more time on subjects and lessons where they
need more help.

“Helping students reach their full potential is our priority,”
said Cassie Barton, head of school at Kansas Virtual Academy. “We make
sure that we provide our students with both the academic and the
personal skills they need to be successful.”

KSVA teachers are dedicated to helping students successfully complete
core subjects in a learning style that works best for them. Teachers
leverage a curriculum that is both intuitive and challenging. By
providing support virtually, over the phone and in-person, teachers
ensure that students and their families are supported yet challenged.

Earlier this summer, KSVA challenged enrolled families to prevent summer
‘brain drain’ by offering students free access to LearnBop, a self-paced
solution that simulates a one-on-one, personalized math tutoring
experience. The award-winning online program will continue to be
available free of charge throughout the fall and can be used alongside
the regular math curriculum to build math skills or prepare for
high-level exams.

KSVA is still accepting enrollments for this fall. To learn more about
enrollment requirements, visit http://ksva.k12.com
