For the first time, the Italian-born pop star will be a judge on the show with the highest audience ratings of Mexican television. She’s also embarking the journey with colleague Ricky Martin, who was recently a judge on “The Voice Australia.”
“Ricky and I are the new judges in “La Voz Mexico!,” she announced on Instagram after sharing a photo of her getting cozy with the Puerto Rican superstar.
But this wasn’t the first offer the singer received from the popular talent competition. After being invited by many countries, she decided to debut as a coach in Mexico, lindo y querido.
“I’m glad to start my new adventure with them [her family],” Pausini said in a statement about moving to Mexico with her husband and baby girl.
“I owe so much to the Mexican audience. They are people I love and they gave me respect from the very first day that they’ve known me.”
As a coach, Pausini wants to open the doors for those aspiring artists whom still haven’t had a chance in the music world.
“It’s a very strong responsibility because you decide according to your own musical sensibility,” she said about forming part of the show’s fourth season. “I just hope to be able to find a talent, which who knows, may one day arrive in Italy.”

Pausini is also getting ready to release her new single “Sino a Ti” with the help of her friend, Thalia.
The Mexican diva shared the news on her Instagram earlier this week by stating: Don’t miss it! Laura Pausini and Thalia, Sino A Ti, soon.
Of course, it was sprinkled with much hashtag love, such as #music #música #magic #amazing #único #ideal #PRONTO.
“Sino a Ti” is a song that forms part of Pausini’s special version album of “20 – The Greatest Hits,” expected to launch by September.
The album, which will target the hispanic market, also contains new duets with Alex Ubago and Melendi.
