Everything about stardom sounds pretty: fame, glitz, red carpets, tours, movies and so on. Working hard and following dreams have gotten most of the A-list stars to where they are today. One hundred of them are even considered the “World’s Most Powerful Celebrities” of 2014.
Forbes has revealed their promising list of the year and pop star Beyonce takes the throne with the No. 1 spot –shockingly surpassing TV host Oprah Winfrey, who ranked No. 4 this year.

The top 10 of this year’s list is as followed:
- Beyonce
- LeBron James
- Dr. Dre
- Oprah Winfrey
- Ellen Degeneres
- Jay-Z
- Floyd Mayweather
- Rihanna
- Katy Perry
- Robert Downey Jr.
Unfortunately, no Latino nabbed a spot at the top, but Bruno Mars shortly followed at No. 14.
We navigated through the “powerful” list and found some of our own. Here are the 8 Latinos who earned a spot on the 2o14 “World’s Powerful Celebrities” list.
1) Bruno Mars $60 Million Ranking #14
He may not be too in touch with his Latino side but Bruno Mars, of Puerto Rican descent, is making us proud by ranking in the list. The pop singer made it to #14, topping celebs such as Angelina Jolie, Paul McCartney and Leonardo DiCaprio.
The 28-year-old debuted on the respectable list due to a busy tour schedule with 118 dates. His presentation at the Super Bowl halftime also helped him rank.
2) Rafael Nadal $45 Million Ranking #24
Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal, 28, also ranked on the top 25 for an exceptional 2013 season where he finished off as No. 1 tennis player in the world.
He won French Open and U.S. Open, and was runner-up at Australia in January 2014. He also added a ninth French Open title in June. Nadal’s biggest endorsement partner is Nike.
3) Cristiano Ronaldo $80 Million Ranking #30
Another athlete who made the list is soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo. The 29-year-old who plays in Portugal’s national team and Real Madrid was soccer’s most valuable player in the world in 2013 for the second time in his career.

Ronaldo is also second in Forbe’s “World’s Highest-Paid Athletes” list following boxing champion Floyd Mayweather.
4) Jennifer Lopez $37 Million Ranking #33
Latina icon Jennifer Lopez is No. 33 on Forbe’s list. Just two year’s ago she ranked No. 1 on the same list with her debut as a judge on “American Idol.”
The Puerto Rican musician and actress keeps strong in the list this year with the launch of her newest album “A.K.A.” and because of her collaboration on Pitbull’s song, “We Are One” which was the official song for the FIFA World Cup.
5) Lionel Messi $65 Million Ranking #45
Argentine soccer player Lionel Messi is also on the list. The 27-year-old finished as runner up in 2013 Ballon d’Or after winning it a record four consecutive years ?Ronaldo nabbed the title from him.
Sponsors like Adidas and Turkish Airlines have invested heavily in Barcelona’s most prolific goal scorer.
6) Sofia Vergara $37 Million Ranking #54
The gorgeous Colombian Sofia Vergara did not snatch a position in the top 50. However, she’s on there for a reason: Vergara is the top-earning actress on television for the third year in a row.
Not only does she make big bucks on “Modern Family” but she’s also an entrepreneur and has endorsements with companies Diet Pepsi, CoverGirl, Head & Shoulders and AT&T, among others.
7) Gisele Bundchen $47 Million Ranking #56
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen shortly follows the Colombian beauty.

In the last 12 months, the Brazilian bombshell pocketed $47 million before taxes and fees, making her the world’s highest-paid model for the eighth year in a row.
8) Cameron Diaz $18 Million Ranking #97
One star who barely made it on this year’s list is sexy gal Cameron Diaz. The star of Cuban descent made it 97 on the list, topping Lena Dunham, Kaley Cuoco and Natalie Portman.
Critics have not been impressed with Diaz’s latest box office flicks, yet she managed to get on the list with her staggering earnings of $18 Million.
