Did you know that Rodriguez had not considered becoming an actor until his sister began acting ?
According to his actor biography, in 2005, at the age of six, he made the move from Texas to Los Angeles with his mom and sister, Raini, to support his sisters dream of becoming an actress. After one year of watching her having fun and success, he enrolled in acting classes and started making a name for himself.
Rodriguez earns more than $75,000 per episode
TMZ.com reported last year that while Rico was earning an impressive $75,000 per episode for the fourth season of the show, that number significantly rise for each new season that the show continues to air.
Therefore, Rico earned $85,000 per episode for season five, and he will have earned $95,000 per episode for season six and $105,000 per episode for the seventh season.
And if “Modern Family” is renewed for an eighth season, Rico will be bringing in a staggering $115,000 per episode.
Top “Modern Family” moments of our favorite Latino child star:
1. We love Manny’s old soul in the show.
2. Manny also enjoys going shopping with his fake mother “Gloria Pritchett.”
And he supports her in every crazy decision.
3. He has SWAG.
All while teaching his TV step dad how to be the ultimate Salsa dancer.
4. He is ready to be on his own.
5. Manny is a great uncle to the Dunphy kids.
Rodriguez is pretty adorable with his fake relatives in the show, and he is always watching out for the troublemaker “Luke.”
6. He is not afraid to take chances.
He once made a move on a much older 16-year-old girl at the mall. He was rejected, but not defeated.
