Una imagen de Jesucristo sobrevivió un incendio que destruyó una iglesia de 150 años en Wakefield, Massachusetts, el martes en la noche.
Testigos dijeron que un relámpago impactó la iglesia y desató el fuego en la Primera Iglesia Bautista, que fue construida en 1872.

La sorpresa para bomberos y voluntarias al momento de retirar escombros fue encontrar una pintura de Jesucristo intacta. Tampoco hubo heridos ni muertos por las llamas.

Lo que queda de la iglesia será demolido. La pintura se le entregó a un antiguo pastor.
