JAC Brings Another Compact SUV S2 to Young Customers
HEFEI, China–(BUSINESS WIRE)–According to figures released by China Association of Automobile
Manufacturers, 91859 units of JAC S3 were sold during the first half
year of 2015, topping the sales list amongst all compact SUVs in China.
Following the success of S3, JAC recently launched another compact SUV
S2.
JAC receives S2 orders of more than 10,000 units in 18 days
JAC held an internet release conference on August 31st and an
on-site release conference at the 2015 Chengdu Motor Show on September 4th,
and received orders of more than 10,000 units in just 18 days. The S2
internet release conference attracted more than 2 million participants
and became an instant hit on BBS and SNS.
S2’s stunning sporty appearance attracts young buyers
Considered as typically energetic and young, S2 has a sporty appearance
highlighting aesthetic details that appeal to a young population. S2
features a front grill with a high-impact bumper, chrome-trimmed grill
adornment, and a multi-functional leather steering wheel. These design
details are full of personality with youthful and sporty elements.
Additionally, S2 provides several colors that were selected by Internet
customers. Buyers concerned about aesthetics won’t be disappointed, as
the S2’s design features perfectly combine functionality with
eye-pleasing details.
Intelligent technologies give S2 users additional security
The S2 has made great strides in terms of safety equipment and has
adopted a high-impact car body design with side air bags. 26% of the
vehicle’s body is made of high-strength steel, and a further 21.5% of
super high-strength steel, which is rarely seen among compact SUVs in
the same class. Finally, S2 has been equipped with an Electronic
Stability Program (ESP), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS),
Traction Control System (TCS), Brake Assist (BA), Brake Override System
(BOS) and other intelligent equipment that helps drivers safely enjoy
their journey. Finally, in terms of the entertainment system, S2 has a

only 6.5L/100km. Besides the highly effective combination of the engine
and CVT transmission, S2 is also equipped with intelligent driving
equipment such as HAS, ESP and CCS, all qualifying S2 among the
top-ranked SUVs.
