Will Shakira finally pose for Playboy?

Shakira may be ready to bare more than ever before as reports have surfaced again that she has finally accepted Playboy’s offer to pose for their cover.

The Colombian sex symbol has, according to various media outlets, accepted an offer to pose for the magazine, but she won’t be completely nude. She will pose with lingerie and more clothed than what the magazine typically allows.

In years past the superstar rejected the magazine’s offer, including one in 2012 that created so much buzz, she went to Twitter to set the record straight.

“Absolutely untrue. But get used to it guys, u know that every week they make up something new ;)” said Shakira in response to a question on Twitter.

It is suspected that the reason for not posing completely nude may have a lot to do with the hot temper of boyfriend Gerard Piqué.

“I have to keep in mind that he’s very jealous and territorial, and he likes things to always be under control,” Shakira told Ryan Seacrest during an interview.

She also commented on having his approval for the steamy video of “Can’t Remember to Forget You” with Rihanna, which received a lot of criticism for the overly flirtatious scenes she had with the Barbadian star. Both recently made the Maxim Hot 100 list. Shakira placed at #38.

The reports also state that the earnings from the photos will go to the Barefoot Foundation (Pies Descalzos) which she founded in 1997 in her native Barranquilla, Colombia. The foundation’s main purpose is to provide and promote education for children in poor and/or hostile areas that cannot provide it for them.
