Enrique Iglesias is ready to take his sexy self to the streets of New York City where he will delight over thousands of spectators with his best tunes.
The Spanish singer has been invited to celebrate the U.S. Independence Day at the 38th annual “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” on NBC.

Iglesias joins a reputed lineup of artists that includes country music sensations Zac Brown Band, Hunter Hayes and Miranda Lambert, as well as chart-topping pop artists Ariana Grande and Lionel Richie.

Though the 39-year-old international icon was born in Madrid, Spain, his long trajectory includes a successful crossover career.
In total, the GRAMMY winning-artist enjoyed 72 No. 1′s across all Billboard charts, including 13 No. 1 songs on the Billboard Dance Chart, which is the most for any male performer in the chart’s history. Plus, he holds the record for most #1 Spanish-language singles on the Hot Latin Tracks Chart with 25.
Nick Cannon will host the two-hour NBC live special from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. eastern time on July 4th.
The patriotic celebration makes its comeback to the Brooklyn Bridge located in New York’s East River. Last time Macy’s showcased their spectacle at the iconic landmark was in 1995.
“Weve had our eye set to feature this world-famous landmark in our show for many years,” said Amy Kule, executive producer of Macys 4th of July Fireworks, according to NBC San Diego.
“And with the advancements in pyrotechnic technology and artistry, we expect to create jaw-dropping effects that will delight millions of spectators as this quintessential New York icon joins the 4th of July party.”
She also said the fireworks, which will illuminate the shores of lower Manhattan and Brooklyn with stunning effects and colors, are a one-of-a-kind spectacle that will inspire audiences nationwide.
Kule states: “We are thrilled to be working with our partners in the City of New York to have the magnificent Brooklyn Bridge as our canvas and stunning backdrop for this year’s bigger-than life display.
