The young star opened up to “V Magazine” and explained the whereabouts of her new hobby that she has picked up earlier this year. You’d be surprised to know, that it’s also for a good cause.

“I feel like my art became kind of a metaphor—an example of my life. Because a bunch of s?tty things kept happening,” Cyrus told V Magazine. “I hated 2014 because everything that could go wrong kept going wrong. So then I started taking all of those s?t things and making them good.”

“So, that’s how I started making art. I had a bunch of f—–g junk and s–t, and so instead of letting it be junk and s–t, I turned it into something that made me happy,” Cyrus expressed.

Cyrus, who never studied art–other than drawing girls in bathtubs during art class in school–calls her collection of gluing colorful things together, “Dirty Hippie.”

She began her creative venture after the passing of her Alaskan Klee Kai. “After Floyd died, I had a bunch of time at home,” she said.

“Being on tour was a big part of this, too, because I picked up so much junk along the way. I was in a lot of airports—airports are the best for hoarding—so I got a bunch of s–t there, and the fans helped me hoard out a little bit.”

But what’s the purpose of all of this? Glasses with molly, a mask made out of little teddy bears, a bedazzled five-foot bong and who knows what else.

“They say money can’t buy happiness and it’s totally true. Money can buy you a bunch of s?t to glue to a bunch of other s?t that will make you happy, but besides that, there’s no more happiness,” Miley Cyrus said.

“There’s no point in me focusing on getting any f—–g richer. Obviously the s–t you buy doesn’t make you happier because I’m sitting here gluing a bunch of junk to stuff.”

The weird and spunky pop star will present a half dozen sculptures of her “Dirty Hippie” collection on September 10th at Jeremy Scott’s New York Fashion Week show on September 10th. It will also be on view at the V offices’ gallery on September 11th in New York City.
