Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan y Fergal Lawler, integrantes de The Cranberries, expresaron su tristeza ante la muerte de Dolores O’Riordan, vocalista del grupo.
“Estamos devastados por el fallecimiento de nuestra amiga Dolores. Ella tenía un talento extraordinario y nos sentimos privilegiados de haber sido parte de su vida desde 1989, cuando fundamos The Cranberries. El mundo ha perdido hoy a una verdadera artista“, afirmaron los músicos en un comunicado.
We are devastated on the passing of our friend Dolores. She was an extraordinary talent and we feel very privileged to have been part of her life from 1989 when we started the Cranberries. The world has lost a true artist today.

O’Riordan falleció este lunes en Londres a los 46 años. No se ha dado a conocer la causa de muerte.
La cantante participó en los siete discos de estudio de la banda. Además lanzó dos álbumes como solista: Are You Listening? y No Baggage.
Artistas como Duran Duran, Hozier y Liz Phair también han lamentado en redes sociales el fallecimiento de la irlandesa.

My first time hearing Dolores O'Riordan's voice was unforgettable. It threw into question what a voice could sound like in that context of Rock. I'd never heard somebody use their instrument in that way. Shocked and saddened to hear of her passing, thoughts are with her family.
