Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management Launches New Executive MBA Program in Dallas, Texas

LOS ANGELES & DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management is
launching its Executive MBA (EMBA) program in the Dallas, Texas, area,
expanding the program outside of the University’s home state of
California.

Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business,
the Graziadio School EMBA program is one of only five percent of
business schools worldwide to meet this standard. Pepperdine ranked 10th
on Forbes’ list of America’s Most Entrepreneurial
Universities, and Bloomberg Businessweek ranked the Graziadio
School EMBA program at number 23 in the nation.

The Graziadio School EMBA program is an intensive 19-month program that
is designed to fit the strategic needs of busy mid- and senior-level
executives from the greater Dallas-Plano region. The unique program
incorporates real-life case studies into an applied strategic plan,
often utilizing the student’s own companies. The inaugural cohort
program will be located at the Plano Marriot, Legacy Town Center, and
begin in January of 2016. Classes will occur once every three weeks on
Fridays and Saturdays.

“Our Dallas EMBA program will be highly personalized and taught by our
world-class professors from Pepperdine University Graziadio Business
School. With our small class sizes of less than 25 students per class,
we can deliver on a personalized learning experience,” said David M.
Smith, dean of the Graziadio School. “Instead of straight lectures,
students are engaging in dialogue with the professor and their cohorts,
learning best practices from fellow executives, and leveraging
real-world experience with theory and direct application. We’re proud
that our EMBA curriculum will offer executives an avenue for upward
career mobility through experiential learning that translates into
professional capital. The skills developed within the program are
relevant and applicable to any industry or career path, aligning it with
Dallas’ industry and labor market diversity.”

The Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area is currently experiencing strong
corporate and economic growth, with Dallas ranking number 3 on Forbes
list of America’s Fastest-Growing Cities 2015. Emerge Education, a
higher education consulting and enrollment generating firm, is assisting
the Graziadio School with recruitment for the DFW-area EMBA program
expansion.
