La temporada de premios llega a su punto final. Tras meses de intensa competencia y pronósticos cambiantes, los ganadores de los Premios Oscar 2026 se conocieron esta noche en una ceremonia en vivo desde el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles, con Conan O’Brien como anfitrión.
La batalla por el premio a Mejor Película se libraba entre “Sinners” de Ryan Coogler y “One Battle After Another” de Paul Thomas Anderson, pero esta última se quedó con el premio. En la categoría de Mejor Actor, el antes favorito Timothée Chalamet (“Marty Supreme”) perdió frente a Michael B. Jordan (“Sinners”), quien da vida a un doble papel y llega con el impulso de su reciente triunfo en los Premios SAG.
Mientras tanto, en la disputa por Mejor Actriz de Reparto, la veterana Amy Madigan “Weapons” se impuso ante Teyana Taylor “One Battle After Another” y Wunmi Mosaku (“Sinners”).
“Sinners” se perfiló como la gran favorita de la noche, ya que hizo historia al obtener el mayor número de nominaciones; sin embargo, “One Battle After Another” fue la triunfadora de la noche.
Antes de la gala, la Academia ya honró a figuras como Dolly Parton con el Premio Humanitario Jean Hersholt, así como a Tom Cruise y Debbie Allen con premios especiales durante la ceremonia de los Gobernadores celebrada el año pasado.
